Ballybradden

52 x 11/2019/Ireland/Colour/Digital

Studio // Treehouse Republic

Director // Graham Holbrook

Producer // Dale Robinson

The quest for that elusive All-Ireland Primary School Hurling Championship Cup is the central focus of Ballybraddan. Now in sixth class, and next year they will be in secondary school, where there is no hurling team, this is their last chance to win the trophy. Last year, Ballybraddan made the final only to miss out by a point. This year the road to victory is tough and incident-packed. There will be challenges for our gang: first love, the search for identity, attaining self-discipline and negotiating feelings of self-worth. The group dynamic develops to reflect these changes.
